Inspirational Sunday: the ant and the dove.

To start the ball rolling, we are sharing a recent story book project of our elder daugther, Merci. We have to illustrate 12 pages of The Ant and the Dove fable in watercolor.
The Ant and the Dove
An ant went to the river to drink…
but he fell and couldn’t swim back to the river bank.
A dove saw the ant in danger…
he dropped a leaf in the water to serve as a boat for the ant.
The ant immediately climbed into it and thanked the dove…
“someday I may also be able to help you,” said he.
A few days later, the ant saw a man with a bow and arrow…
ready to shoot at the dove!
The ant bit the man’s leg…
and the man jumped!
So his arrow missed the dove.
The dove thanked the ant immediately flew away to safety.
MORAL LESSON:
Drop on us and we will drop back on you.
