We’re not normally keen on doing contests but we ran into an idea by SenseToSave to promote EntreCard by holding a massive blog contest with a very enticing grand prize, 34,000 credits. Now, we’ve read a lot of the pros and cons about EntreCard. For us, all we can say is, WE LOVE ENTRECARD! After a month of joining it our Alexa dropped from 460,000 to 297,532 199,107 163,127 158,352 plus it has not failed to send us at least 120 visitors per day.

So here we are, hosting the Business Category. Here are the details of the contest (from SenseToSave):

1. The contest will be run from March 15 to April 15, 2008.

2. Only new members that signs up with Entrecard during this promotional period will be eligible.

3. Comment and mention Entrecard username (or a link to the userpage) at any of the hosting blogs on their contest post to receive a contest entry. You can comment one time on each hosting blog to receive one entry each comment.

4. A grand prize of 34,000 credits will be given randomly to a new member.

5. Smaller 2nd place prizes will be given within each EntreCard niche category.

All new EntreCard members with business blogs please sign-up for the contest under this post. Also expressly indicate if joining the contest so it’ll be easier for us to note and count the entries.

UPDATE (March 17, 2008)

These are important:

1. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR ENTRECARD USER/ID OR A LINK TO YOUR ENTERCARD PAGE. This would help us, especially Kacie at SenseToSave, to track and compile the entries.

2. Each category has a different blog host, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT TO JOIN THE CONTEST AT THE APPROPRIATE BLOG HOST. If a category has no specific blog host, we believe the main contest post at SenseToSave will serve the purpose.

Hey, just a quick suggestion - you may want to post a list of the hosting blogs here so your readers can get as many entries as possible.

It’s a GREAT contest and 34,000 Entrecards will get you TONS of free advertising!

If you have a blog I would highly suggest entering! plus the Entrecard community is a great place to network too.
